Short.

I believe in God's power.
I believe in miracles, even in this day and age.
I believe God speaks audibly. We just aren't paying attention.
I believe God speaks and works in our dreams.

No need to extra stories and explanations here, right?
Are you listening for God's voice?

As we go on...

One night. Old friends. Reminiscing... and exploring the new. What is it about reunions that makes them so amazing, bittersweet, sad, entertaining, exciting, and nervewracking? Undoubtedly its the cliques, the reputations, and the grudges. The immaturity (and the few mature) ...

Yet, ten years later, it all goes away. Yes, we still remember what we once were. But who you and I are now is all that matters. And in ten more years, we'll say it again.

No one ever labelled me in high school, at least not to my face. But coming into this event with my own label "Nerdy athlete with poor self-confidence," I had a lot to be nervous about. I'd like to say I grew up and I'm a better person, but relating to these people, on the inside, I'm still that girl who never stood up for the things she should have, and who ran to the next class to avoid any awkward glances in between.

But showing up to the smiling faces like Crystal and Paige, two girls whose smiles always lit up our school, was a great way to start my night.

Jeannie and Kayla, two girls I absolutely should have kept in touch with so much more, I am so thankful for their presence at the reunion. Not to mention the fact that their husbands kept my husband free from extreme boredom. Kayla, probably one of my dearest friends EVER, and I am crying as I write this... thank you so much for all the years of laughter!

Amy, Laura, Laurel, Amanda, you are some of the wittiest, most intelligent girls both now and then. Laura, it was so nice to have my other soccer half there! Too bad Steph wasn't in our class, right?!

Chris B., Hugh, Keith, Thomas, Ross... you guys are awesome. And full of awesome stories! Despite losing touch the past ten years, I am so thankful for these quality men I know from high school. Keith, my Gonzaga buddy, it was so great to see you and meet your wife!

Jane, what can I say... I don't think anyone ever misses when you walk in a room! Its not FAIR! :) Beautiful and stunning as always! I'm still better at soccer.

Kristin, Shan, Jess, Shell, Alan, where WERE you??!! I missed you all! Eric and Brenda, I know where you were, and I guess that's acceptable. :)

Julianna, Evan... someday you will both be famous. I guess you basically are... Julianna is on Glee, right?! :) And Evan, I voted for you three times! I would have voted more but to be honest, you really should have gone somewhere with your Peanutbutter and Jelly video from Video Production.

Katie Shepherd, I can't BELIEVE I left before you got there. I feel SO lame.

No one needs to care whether I mentioned them because to be honest, I bet half of you couldn't remember who I was!

But what really matters is this: we spent four of our most pivotal years together. We laughed, cried, played, danced, dated, sang... we survived. Ten years later, we are still the FRESHMEN, the class of 2000, the unoriginal double-0 gang sign. And I love you all.
