My Wishlist.

So, there are three things on my wishlist today, and I thought that maybe by writing them down, it would be one step closer to them actually happening! Here they are, in random order:

1. Kidz Kargo Discovera Tandem Stroller. Its a double jogger, AND it fits through doors! Gaze at its beauty!
2. A backyard. Any backyard will do, preferably one with both sun and shade, a few chairs, and a hot tub. And then there's the wine. If you find one for a decent price, let me know.

3. People + Foot = Foot in Mouth.

For CRYING out loud, what is it with people I don't know??! FIVE times yesterday, people made the comment that I "looked about due," was "ready to pop," or "Look about a month away." Honestly!

I had vowed yesterday that for the next person, I'd break down and cry, violently throw my arms up in the air, and yell, "Why do people keep saying that?! I know I'm fat!!"... Just to teach SOMEONE a lesson so they don't say it to ANOTHER poor, helpless pregnant woman who actually HAS self-esteem problems!

Sheesh.

If you find a foot, please send it to me so I can use it when necessary.

Motivation

Things I am motivated to do:

- Paint the kitchen
- Paint and decorate Ian's bedroom, despite the temporary circumstances
- Put a door/curtain on the pantry opening
- Hang art in bedroom (and buy art to hang)
- The dishes
- Sort through the pantry
- Buy a recipe box, write all my recipes down...

Things I am going to do:

- See above? None of it. I'll pretty much do this ("this" being sit on my hiney and wish I was in Hawaii or some other tropical oasis) and blog, check Craigslist for who-knows-what...

And that's about it.

Thank you, I'll be here all week.

Solicitation

Why do random people I don't even know write comments on my blog just to solicit their company or their blog? Is this happening to anyone else?

I appreciate if some random person in New York or wherever comes across my blog and writes something nice or interesting, but if you're just here to solicit your company don't bother. Not interested! Your comment will be deleted!

Guess What Movie!

So, I was going to do this fun post where you write 25 movie lines and your friends have to guess what movie its from. But #1: I'm too predictable, and #2: this quote reminded me just how much I really do think I should have lived back in the 1800's, or even the early 1900's.

From M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village"

Ivy Walker: "When we are married, will you dance with me? I find dancing very agreeable. Why can you not say what is in your head?"

Lucius Hunt: "Why can you not stop saying what is in yours? Why must you lead, when I want to lead? If I want to dance I will ask you to dance. If I want to speak I will open my mouth and speak. Everyone is forever plaguing me to speak further. Why? What good is it to tell you you are in my every thought from the time I wake? What good can come from my saying that I sometimes cannot think clearly or do my work properly? What gain can rise of my telling you the only time I feel fear as others do is when I think of you in harm? That is why I am on this porch, Ivy Walker. I fear for your safety before all others. And yes, I will dance with you on our wedding night."

I don't know why... I just think this is one of the most romantic moments in a movie EVER. Call me sappy.

Beach.

A day at the beach with toddlers! Notice the complete lack of organization in pictures that can only be created by a handful of random toddlers...

Birch Bay
Well, at least the moms know what direction to look...
One word... Frodo.
Frodo and Arwen, the younger years....
Which one's pregnant? I couldn't tell.
... Oh, except for the one on the left with the head and limbs.

We finally cut Ian's hair Sunday night. I'm sure at some point I'll reminisce and cry about losing his baby curls, but for now I am just in awe of how stunning this little man looks...

He has no idea what's coming.
This was only possible with three things: 1. Monster's Inc. 2. Fruit Snacks 3. Milk

A New Day

No, you're not seeing things. Kelly REALLY IS back on her blog!

Things that have happened from October till now (because my Christmas posts didn't quite reveal everything...)

1. October...WAS pregnant, had a miscarriage
2. November... PREGNANT AGAIN! (Oops! Hehe.)
3. Christmas... you already saw that part. We announced to family we were pregnant. I got pretty tired of hearing "Well, let's hope this one sticks." :)
4. Kelly grows larger, a bit chubby actually. Cries at TV Commercials, kittens, and sushi.
5. In February Aaron and I got away to LA for a childhood friend's wedding. SO FUN! Pics will be included in upcoming blogging.
6. Sometime in February, our internet stopped working on our computer. Ironically, at the same time our anti-virus software expired... hmm.... Yeah, we got a virus. Had to make backups of EVERYTHING, then blanked the hard drive. I am a PC person but seriously debating a MAC. Now you see why I haven't blogged in forever, and the only computer I had access to was a Mac. Arg.
7. We had a lovely (but busy) Easter weekend, after which I couldn't get the smell of bread and cinnamon rolls out of my nose (but who would want to?).

Now here we are. Its April 1st... and I know you were expecting some crazy lie like WE'RE HAVING QUINTUPLETS!

But I must tell the truth, its just one baby. At my 12 week ultrasound, she danced for me, then at my 21 week ultrasound, she yawned, mooned us, and grabbed her foot above her head! YEP, its a GIRL! Very obvious... three little lines for those of you who know what I'm talking about. I feel great, and my weight is right on track with my first pregnancy although I hope it tapers off... I don't want another giant baby. :)

Here are some pics for your viewing enjoyment. I'll post a few more times this week to update you on ultrasound, Easter, yada. Should be fun.

Here's Aaron bench-pressing Ian. If he does this every day for the next 15 years, he'll be able to press 170 pounds!
