Early mornings and Somersaults.

I want to say, the picture at the top of my blog is one I took of the water in Birch Bay. Yes, its that beautiful and serene. Makes you want to move north, huh??? Now that my parents are moving to Birch Bay (although I'm in Blaine), I think you all should. That way, I wouldn't have to blog to people far away... I could just walk.

Agreed? Fabulous.

I've been up since 4:28 on a SATURDAY morning. Couldn't get back to sleep because:

1. I was dreaming about this apartment we may move into, and rearranging furniture in my head.

2. Hungry.

3. Baby Girl was doing somersaults in my belly, and I was analzying every movement, trying to figure out how she was turned.

d. By the way, any more name suggestions???? I'll take ANYTHING at this point!!!

By a Show of Hands...

Who out there actually reads this? You can even respond with "I do! I do!" and that's all I need!

The reason I ask is, I get very minimal comments on my posts. Which I assume means the rest of you have lives as well as I do, and commenting on EVERY ONE of your friend's blogs would be a waste of time.

But sometimes, I see other blogs that get more comments, and wonder, "Does anyone even read mine? Maybe I should delete it."

Your one-time comment will relieve me on this matter. :)

(So will the ice cream I am about to consume).

29 Weeks...

Aaron: Nice fake smile. And by the way, your belly looks huge.
Kelly: I know! I'm so big! What? Fake smile?
Aaron: You look funny in those pants.
Kelly: Maybe I should go change...
Aaron: No *click.*
Me with the soccer ball... and yes, my belly IS bigger.
Kelly: Ok, now I have to go change pants...
Nope, still look funny.
I want this sign for our cafe:

Whispers.

I woke up yesterday to a whisper. It said "I know the plans I have for you." It ran through my head, over and over.

As I brushed my teeth, the whole verse from Jeremiah ran through my head, as if God was audibly speaking it to me. "Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

It kept repeating, enough that I KNEW I hadn't just read it somewhere that morning (like when you look at your facewash bottle, and for the rest of the morning you're singing "salicyclic acid" to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb).

I didn't even have to go through my list of hates, worries, doubts, or frustrations. I knew it didn't matter. Because if I really am listening to Him as I say I do, and really desiring to know where God is moving and where He's working, this is all I need to know... God has plans, and they are to give me HOPE and a FUTURE... even if my life isn't perfect. My mom reminded me of that a few weeks ago. (wise lady)

But I think it took God to really step in and speak to me in the quiet of the morning.

This morning, I woke up with another verse in my head, but it didn't completely stick... I perhaps was a bit too distracted by the delicious Cranberry Walnut Bran Muffins I made! Once I remember, I'll get back on here and continue.

Nesting...

Due partially to all my friends who are painting, renovating their homes, or even just nesting like me, I have the unbelievable urge to PAINT!

And now that my work schedule has changed and I have time to do projects while the wee one is sleeping, I think its time to complete the final stage of pregnancy: PAINTING.

Behold: country cottage... which happens to match our rugs! Its springy, yet earthy, and still has a modern appeal.

Now... if only Kelly would FOLLOW THROUGH with her urges... only time will tell.

A Quick Shout Out...

To the Grandmas.
They cook,
they hug well,
make us feel important,
they feed us healthy food,
they stay up all night JUST to see a funny-looking newborn...
they make costumes,
read books,
laugh and smile at the little things,
brag about us...
We love Grandmas.

Birch Bay

Ian and I headed out for a gorgeous day at the beach a few weeks ago, and all I had was the camera on my phone... little did I know, that thing takes pretty good pics!
